RTC

Accreditation

We believe in striving for and maintaining the highest possible standards within the remedial industry. RTC are proud to be approved and accredited by the following organisations.

Our list of accreditations:

The PCA represents the UK’s damp-proofing and timber preservation industries, as well as structural waterproofing and structural maintenance.

All members have to be regularly checked for technical expertise and ethical stance, as well as being financially assessed. More and more professional specifiers, local authorities, building societies and lending institutions will only recommend companies who are members of the PCA, to carry out surveys and work on their behalf.

QANW specialises in IBGs for the home improvement and construction industries.

Workmanship guarantees set out the contractor’s obligation to remedy any defects in installations they have fitted, but this doesn’t mean they will always be around to carry out the amends for you. Installation companies can ‘cease to trade’ for many reasons, including retirement, illness or a new career choice.

The purpose of an insurance backed guarantee is to honour the terms of the installing contractor’s own guarantee, where unfortunately the installing contractor has ceased to trade and is, therefore, unable to satisfy remedial claims made against their workmanship guarantee.

RTC was also one of the first companies to become a TrustMark registered firm.

TrustMark is an exciting industry initiative, supported by government and consumer groups to help clients find reliable and trustworthy trades people who can help with property improvements and repairs. They also offer advice on how to protect yourself from rogue traders.

Which? is the UK’s most respected consumer advice brand. They have launched the Trusted Trader scheme to help identify reputable companies.

We are proud to be the first remedial contractor on the Fylde Coast to be awarded Which? Trusted Trader status following their rigorous inspection procedure which includes contacting a random sample of past clients to ask their opinion of our service.
